Name:

Mary Johnson

Tell us about your business? Vitiman Kandie, LLC was created in 2011 after owner Mary Johnson lost over 120 pounds and had digestive tract issues. Vitiman Kandie is a combination of acidic fruits, veggies, and herbs juices and vegetarian capsules combined to recharge your digestive system, reset your immune system, and recover your energy.

We also offer healthy meal prep for those on the go that just don’t have the time, grab and go vegan and vegetarian meals, and easy guide meal plans. Vitiman Kandie also have dba VK fitness where we provide corporate wellness training, online personal training, and summer program workshops.

Owner, Mary Johnson is the author of “From this to That” that teaches those seeking a healthier lifestyle how to lose weight and keep it off, and a motivational speaker that focuses on mental, physical, and spiritual health. We are also partner with Validity Sports & Enrichment, a non-profit where we provide volunteer opportunities for the youth and seniors with a primary focus on bridging the gap to help educate and grow in a tremendous way.

How did you get into this field? After losing weight and keeping it off I decided to become a certified trainer and help those seeking a healthier lifestyle.

What is your favorite part about your job? My favorite part about my ministry is watching the transformation right before my eyes, knowing I helped save another life.

What is the most challenging part about your job? The most challenging part about my ministry is getting clients to understand that there is light at the end of the tunnel. I can always see the finish line for them, but it’s hard to convince them when the process is at a standstill.

Why did you decide to become a PCBC member? I decided to become a PCBC member because I needed to take my business to the next level and I knew that they could provide the type of services I needed to accomplish those goals.

What challenges do you face as an African American business professional? The challenges I face as an African American business professional is the opportunity to gain business capital/credit due to the “stereo type” of our beautiful culture and the “non-trust” factor of being able to pay back. Also, being a female business owner competing in such a popular profession and having the capability to transform lives in the same way a male trainer can.

What are your goals for your business and how do you see PC being part of that process? My goal for my business is to franchise Vitiman Kandie, LLC one day to those up and coming health and wellness professionals looking to go in the same direction to help transform lives. PC will help to keep my business delivery clean, with a professional product and reputation.

What PC Buys Black business to business/consumer special are you offering members? Vitiman Kandie and Vk fitness is offering 3 juices for $25 mix or match (comes with easy guide meal plan), Meal prep services $150 for 5 days ( lunch & Dinner November Only), and online training for $150 a month ( buy 2 months get one free).
