Meet Our Summer Interns

The Presidents’ Council has several interns working with us over the summer months!

Haisu Ding is a Programs & Data Analyst intern. She is a rising junior at the University of Michigan majoring in mathematics and economics. During her internship, Haisu plans to gain hands-on experience with information collection and data processing. “I will also work closely with program associates of PC on data visualization and reporting,” she said.

Kieori Gethers is a PC Scholars intern. She is a graduate of Howard University, with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in human development. She said she is “really excited to work more closely with this organization as they have served as a pillar in my matriculation through college. I am hoping that I can expand my skill set as well as offer my knowledge to the team and the students that I come across. Overall, I know this will be an equally beneficial opportunity, allowing me to pour back into a community that has blessed me.”

Abhishek Srivastava is a Marketing Data Analyst intern. He is pursuing a Master’s degree in engineering science at the University of Buffalo, with a major in data science. “My role as a Marketing Data Analyst will help me discover new boundaries in the current market and also deduce ways that will assist the business in growth. Data analytics will play a crucial role for me in recognizing which factors most influence the development of the organization and how to significantly improve your presence and market value on social media platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram,” he said.

Lauren Sherman is a Business Operations intern. She recently completed an administrative specialist certificate at Cuyahoga Community College. She is “learning new software skills and gaining more experience with nonprofits, as well as meeting new people in the business community,” she said.

LaChyra Lewis is an Events & Project Management Intern. She will be a sophomore at Baldwin Wallace University majoring in Arts Management/Entrepreneurship and also Sport Management. She said she is “most looking forward to meeting new people, planning and organizing events to help the brand, and learning more marketing skills and overall learning how it is to be an events/project manager with everything that comes with it.”
