The Presidents' Council: Black Business Boom

Reinvent Your Marketing Strategy!

How it Works

  • Interested businesses will be partnered with a scholar as part of the PC Scholars Summer Internships program (linked here). Businesses and their intern will attend BOOMCamp, a virtual, 2-hour session that details the expectations of Black Business Boom, and will serve as an introduction to this exclusive series of digital marketing and social media trainings.
    • Learnings can be applied in real-time during the scholar’s summer internship toward the completion of a marketing project or development of a marketing strategy.
  • Starting May 24th, both the intern and the host business will participate in the 6-session cohort with a seventh and final session to serve as a graduation ceremony signifying their completion of the training.
  • During the duration of Black Business Boom, businesses will receive two individual coaching sessions designed to address their unique needs and to enhance their business’s marketing strategy.

By the end of the program, participating businesses and scholars will have received live support and assistance, gained valuable knowledge, and obtained tangible assets that can immediately be implemented.
